We will be raffling off a Market Day Tote Bag filled with Market Day foods during the May 31st sale. The tote bag will be filled with the following items: Mixed Grill (includes 4 each - ChicNSteakes, Boneless Pork Chops & 1/4 lb Patties), BBQ Sauce, Supersweet Corn, Broccoli, Steakhouse Onion Rings, Chocolate Chip Cookie Meltdown and 2 - Travel Mugs. In order for your name to be placed in the drawing you must order at least 3 items.

If you are in need of tuition assistance, you may apply at anytime online between now and April 15, 2012 for the first cut-off or before August 15, 2012 for the final cut-off. You can apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com/facts/gaindex.

IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CALL THE OFFICE BEFORE 9AM. WE ALSO NEED TO KNOW WHAT SYMPTOMS YOUR CHILD HAS (EX. FEVER, SORE THROAT, STOMACH, ETC.). WE HAVE A REPORT WE NEED TO SEND TO THE COUNTY WEEKLY.

ALSO, IF YOUR CHILD IS LATE COMING TO SCHOOL OR HAS AN EARLY DISMISSAL, MAKE SURE YOU SIGN YOUR CHILD IN AND/OR OUT IN THE OFFICE. IF YOUR CHILD COMES BACK FROM AN EARLY DISMISSAL AND IS NOT SIGNED BACK IN, THEY WILL BE MARKED A HALF DAY OR A FULL DAY ABSENT DEPENDING ON WHAT TIME THEY LEFT SCHOOL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

We will have our next Market Day sale on Thursday, May 31st, with the pick-up from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The Kindergarten & Pre-School classes sre responsible for volunteering at this Market Day. If you are able to help with this Market Day sale, please call the school and let us know. You will need to be there by 11:00 am.  Anyone can help with Market Day. You don't have to be a 3rd grade parent.

LAST DAY TO PLACE AN ORDER AT SCHOOL IS Tuesday, May 22nd. You can place an order online thru Friday, May 25th. If you need an order form, you can check the church lobby, the school office or you can order on-line at www.marketday.com. The school number is 10474.                  Hot Lunch Reminder:

***** PLEASE DO NOT TAKE CREDITS OFF ON YOUR CHILD'S HOT LUNCH UNTIL YOU RECEIVE A VOUCHER FOR IT. IT MAKES IT EASIER IN THE OFFICE FOR OUR RECORDS IF YOU SEND THE VOUCHER IN. ALSO, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THE HOT LUNCH MONEY TO YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER . THEY WILL SEND IT TO THE OFFICE. THANK YOU.

 

When sending in the hot lunch money for your child, please make sure you mark you child's name, grade, days they are getting lunch and the kind of milk they want on the front of the envelope. This keeps the teacher from having to open the envelope. The envelopes should not be opened until the teachers send them to the office. If you have more than one child, make sure that each of your children's teachers get the slip for their lunch so they can mark it in their books before sending the money to the office. This helps the teachers send the office a more accurate count.

Lunch should also be paid for by the week or the month, NOT daily. This will help with ordering the correct amount of food for the week. Do not put the milk money with the lunch money. This should also be put in an envelope with your child's name on it and the days they are to receive milk. Milk money needs to be separate so we can send a report to the state. If you have any questions, please call the office.
